Nice campground

Spacious camping area. New bathrooms were well maintained. Lake (or river) on the side. Nice view

Not our favorite but friendly

Site is very remote with little access to any stores or fuel.  It is located on a hill to that is very rocky and not very level.. our 38ft RV has a hard time leveling as the camp sites are not very level to begin with.  Access to the Ouachita National Forrest is 20 miles or so away.. we took the Jeep back reading for a couple of days.. beautiful area and plenty to see .. Access to the COE camp sites and launch ramp is close by.  The owners are very nice and seem to be working on upgrades and fixing some issues.  Overall we probably won’t make this a destination for us again.

Not our favorite

The camp ground is in top of a Rocky hill with no grass or smooth land. The sites are not level so large self leveling RVs or campers may have problems getting set up. There are full Hookups on most sites .. there is nothing else to do at the camp site.. there is a Corp Of Engineers site down the street that has a boat launch. We probably will not be a repeat visitor at this site. There are some beautiful trails north and south of the area that can run across to Hot Springs and other spots. You do have to drive out to get to them..
