Sitting at the edge of the canyon in Kaibab National Forest, Saddle Mountain Lookout is a dispersed campsite managed by the US Forest Service on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Access is via a bumpy gravel road that requires patience and a capable vehicle, though at least one camper has made it in a high-top van by driving slowly. Cell service is listed as an available amenity. Come prepared with all supplies, as services are minimal at this remote location.
