Hard to get to, worth it though

Great camp site, most definitely need a 4x4 with clearance to get there. I would not recommend going during or after a rain event. Beware of the winds at night, sustained at 20 mph!

Camping on the Edge

Wow, where to begin. What a CRAZY camping spot! You are on the EDGE of the Canyon. Such specular views. It takes a solid 1.5 to 2 hours to get to this spot off of 89. The road overall was drivable however there were a few spots that required 4X4. We towed an offroad trailer with a Tacoma and did okay. I would not recommend a passenger 2wd car. It was warm and pretty exposed with no trees. There are some large rocks that you can use as a table or chair, no one for miles around. Got a steady solid breeze as the sun went down and didnt let up until late the next morning. At first the breeze was nice and then it got COLD. Such a fantastic camping spot!
