Bureau of Land Management dispersed camping operates throughout Road Canyon, with a 2.5-mile dirt access road that features washboarding but accommodates large RVs and fifth wheels. Multiple camping spots line the route, while the main area provides easy maneuvering space and turnaround options for big rigs.
AT&T cell service reaches two to three bars throughout the area. The dirt road passes several suitable sites before reaching the primary camping zone, where campers can continue deeper into additional spots. State land borders begin beyond the main BLM camping area and requires separate permits for overnight use.
