Description
The edge of Mogollon Rim country in Sitgreaves National Forest holds this dispersed spot just below Promontory Butte at roughly 7,600 feet, with sweeping views across the forested plateau below. Established fire rings are in place, and the site draws little traffic — especially outside of summer. The approach via FR 76 is suited to smaller, high-clearance vehicles.
