Dispersed sites dot the length of FR611 along the East Rim of Kaibab National Forest, with road quality and views varying considerably by spot. The road runs bumpy but passable for most vehicles, though site 611PA requires a capable 4x4. Site 611W has enough room for a small group, while 611PD provides more space and an unobstructed panoramic view of the canyon floor. The East Rim perspective differs from what visitors see at the North Rim visitor center, but the sightlines here, including views extending to the Vermillion Cliffs from certain sites, hold up well on their own terms. Nearby, Grand Canyon East Rim Camping offers another dispersed option worth comparing before you commit to a site.
