Leaf Verde RV Resort in Buckeye provides cabin accommodations with full hookup access, clean facilities, and amenities like a swimming pool and laundry facilities. Pleasant Harbor RV Resort offers cabins with lake access and permits fires, unlike some other locations in the area. Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts

    Good place - Quiet

Convenient to SE Phoenix area. Far enough from the freeway to be quiet. An oasis surrounded by fields. Clean restrooms, pools, grounds, roads, sites. Nice folks working there. Refundable $20 deposit to get bathroom key. Did not use laundry. Stayed 3 nights. Very open, but a tree between each rig. Not much shade. Full hookups but no CATV. $73 per night. I will. Stay here again when I’m in the area.

    Clean

Large clean spots. All spots are fenced descent pool and small store if you need anything. We stayed in the loop near the entrance. Quite loud with all the cars coming and going. Marina for boat rentals with a shuttle to take you back and forth. Strong WiFi. Kids were able to zoom without any issues.

    Pleasant Harbor RV Resort

    Disappointed

Well we stayed here for two nights and frankly I wasn’t very impressed. The Campground is really only for permanent residents, everyone else ends up in a dirt lot essentially. Nearest bathrooms were a bit of a hike, so were all amenities. We paid for water and electric. The noise level was crazy... especially as we have a pop-up. I guess they don’t really enforce quiet hours. We got in late and finding our campsite was hard in the dark if you’ve never been there before. Lots of bugs at night. Honestly you pay $50 a night just to be by a lake and for me it wasn’t worth it 🤷‍♀️.

    Pleasant Harbor RV Resort

Great place to camp for the night in a RV

Depending on the water level, it can be a hike to the water. Nothing bad at all though. Has water, 30amp, 50 amp, and 20amp hook ups. Covered picknick table and fire pit. We definitely will come here again. Good Verizon cell service.

    Great summer fun

Large spacious sites. Several camping options available. There is dry camping, T-sites or Resort camping. T sites have only electric and water. Resort has everything. Lake swimming not your thing? Pool available with showers and store. Well managed and great family summer fun.

    Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts

    Very neat with orange trees

Staff very helpful when we came to help us park, but office & store were closed at 3pm on a Saturday. Couldnt get supplies or change for laundry.

Nice & quiet. All paved. 3 dog pens side by side to unleash pet for pottying and a long dog run I another area with toys & balls.

1/2 the Laundry machines did not work with card. Had choice of 8 quarters per load or card. I had plenty of cash if they’d had a change machine, but they didn’t & it was frustrating that 1/2 the machines didn’t work with card. Everything else was nice. Expensive but we expected that. $92-95 for pull thru full hook-up.

Store closed at 3 on Sat & closed Sun.

    Pleasant Harbor RV Resort

Great Campground with easy water access...lots of options

There are several different RV/Camping options at Pleasant Harbor Marina / RV Resort.

    1. In the resort with Full Hookups

    2. Out on the "flat" with just water and power (dump station on site)

    3. Out on the "flat" with no hookups. (can also tent / car camp)

As compared to the Maricopa County Parks side, this has a little bit more party atmosphere, is less secluded, but you can almost always get at least a boondocking spot without a reservation. They also have large events here as well so check their calendar for the weekend you are wanting to go!

We keep a boat at Lake Pleasant and are part of the Arizona Yacht Club so we are up here all the time.

    Leaf Verde RV Resort

    Served us well

We needed a place in or near Buckeye and located this place. Nice bathrooms, hot showers. We were in a Class B close to the entrance so didn’t have any issues with size of sites. Didn’t try any amenities beyond our hookups which worked well, which is why I’m going with 4 rather than 5 stars. -I just can’t rate them.
