Coconino National Forest manages this free, drive-in dispersed site along FR 295, roughly 1 to 2 miles from Knoll Lake Campground. The site features a large flat area that can accommodate multiple camping groups, though its proximity to the road means traffic noise is a real factor, particularly on holiday weekends. Campfires are permitted. No pets are allowed. Knoll Lake provides fishing, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding, with pit toilets on site, making this a functional base for water-based recreation. Pack in all water and supplies, as no hookups or water sources are available at the site itself.
