Desert Trails RV Park - Adult-only Resort

Desert Trails RV Park operates as an adults-only resort accommodating RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups on gravel sites. Located on the edge of Saguaro National Park, the facility charges $45-75 per night and accepts reservations. Pull-through sites provide easy maneuvering for larger rigs, while full electric, water, and sewer connections serve long-term and short-term guests alike.

The park attracts a social community of seasonal visitors, particularly during winter months when planned activities run regularly. Campers report the atmosphere leans toward a snowbird crowd, with many long-term residents who interact frequently with each other. "Easy pull throughs all hook ups, clean bathrooms with laundry," notes Diane M.. Summer conditions present challenges, with reviewers mentioning hot shower buildings during warmer months.

Amenities include clean restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and WiFi, though signal strength varies by site. The park provides dump station access and maintains a TV lounge for guests. Some visitors find the density of sites creates a crowded feel, while others appreciate the social environment and organized entertainment options. Food trucks occasionally visit the property.

Trail access leads directly from campsites into surrounding desert terrain. For additional camping options in the region, campers can explore campsites outside Cortaro or nearby Justin's Diamond J RV Park, located less than half a mile northwest.

Nice 40+ Campground

This is a nice 40+ campground right on the edge of Saguaro National Park. The sites are gravel with full hook ups. I had plenty of room to maneuver my 19’ travel trailer. They have planned activities -at least in the winter- which is nice to see. There seem to be a lot of long term guests here and they are very social with each other.

Great RV park for exploring Tucson area

So many amenities, awesome staff, clean, everything worked as advertised. Wifi was a little spotty from our site, just a few tv channels with antenna (no cable). Laundry, showers, TV lounge, food trucks, entertainment, etc.

Nice and neighborly

We stayed a week while taking care of some business in Tucson. Nice place full of snowbirds. People very friendly. Lot's of activities and clean showers. A little too crowded for my taste. Good value for the price.
