Coconino NF Dispersed near Bellemont

Description

Ponderosa pine forest rolls across this section of Coconino National Forest west of Flagstaff, where a well-maintained forest road opens onto a generous stretch of dispersed boondocking with numerous pull-outs spread along the corridor. The terrain accommodates rigs of all sizes, and light cell signal is available. Note that this area is distinct from the nearby Lava River Cave day-use area — it is forest camping, not a cave entrance.
