Free dispersed camping on Arizona State Land Trust land, this site gives access to OHV and ATV use and allows pets and alcohol, with no reservation required. Cell service is available. As of February 2026, however, a State Trust Land sign posted at the area indicated closure to motorized vehicles, so campers should verify current access status with the Arizona State Land Department before making the trip. Those planning a visit may also want to look at Maddock Road Dispersed - AZ State Trust Land, a nearby dispersed option 1.2 miles south. Confirm access conditions ahead of time, particularly during winter months.
