Great location

Ocean view site was beautiful. The place has a great common area/coffee place/gift shop, and over all a great atmosphere. Looking forward to visit this place again

Open space.

It is average camp. The staff was a litle rude but hol the convenience af being close to those fishing chartes and stores. They have a very nice views. Bit expensive $ 72.

Bayside and beautiful

Everything you could need from showers to a club house. Not cheap but worth it. Make reservations because this place fills up.

Nice even considering price

It is midway down the Homer Spit. Cost is $72/night Typical for every where we have stayed in Alaska it is a gravel lot pretty closely spaced. Full hook ups. Have sites which face the bay need to reserve in advance. I would stay here again. I like everything but the price.

One of our best stays in Alaska

We went from Ohio to Alaska last year with a 36' fifth wheel camper and stayed at 56 campgrounds in three months. Heritage was one of our favorites. Very nice camp sites with full hookups. Excellent showers, very clean and laundry facilities larger than any other campground we have ever stayed at. Very nice people working there that are always willing to help in any way they can. Great coffee shop with doughnuts and a relaxing place to sit and enjoy them. It's all right on the water and a two minute drive to all the charters on the spit. I highly recommend this campground.

Nicest place on the spit

Heritage RV Park is the nicest campground on the spit. It is perfect for RV's and campers. However, they do not allow tent camping unless you are using the tent with your RV. There are electrical and sewer hookups. The sites are very close together, but they are right on the water so the views are great. There are showers, toilets, a common area, drink machines, gift shop, and everything you need in the main building.
