Quiet country campground with easy access, on-site RV Tech available

We were placed in the new addition of the park, where the sites were very tight and the utility hookups where in a strange position (the neighbors' utilities actually were under our awning when extended).  The turn at the end of the new sights was a bit sharp if you have a long rig.  The sights weren't particularly level, all gravel and the grass appeared hastily sown over unleveled soil with large clumps of clay and rocks present.  You had to watch where you walked to avoid twisting an ankle.  The Laundry/Shower facilities were quite a distance from where we were camped, luckily, we had our golf cart to make the trek when needed.

On the plus side, the office staff and the on-sight tech were particularly helpful.  The park is near Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon National preserve, and the Alabama (band) museum.  We were there for the start of the fall colors changing and the views were awesome!

Good Location

Quiet RV park close to Ft Payne and surrounding parks such as Desoto state Park. Close to Little River Canyon waterfall among others. (A must see). Sites at park very close together and our dually truck had to be parked sideways in front or back of site. One side of park is for long term stays while the other side is for up to two week stays. Other than that friendly check in and was able to have ups delivery. Available Sites are able to be chosen when get there.  Internet using Verizon (nomad) for work is only ok. My husband was able to work on conference calls ect but had one dropped call and while he was working I wasn’t able to use our internet. Evening hours when trying to stream sling was difficult to non existent the second week of our stay. Gave it 4 stars due to friendliness and ups delivery.

Clean and Nice

One night stop and it’s a great place. Water, electric and sewer which is a huge plus. No cable or internet, AT&T has one bar and no over the air television. We relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sites are level and easy to access

Awesome place

This place is great! Its not a 5 star ultra luxurious ultra posh rv resort but its still amazing. The people that are managing it are great and very helpful. Its extremely clean and for added bonus its a great starting point for an unbelievable motorcycle ride to ruby falls. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Amazing !!!

This has been one of my favorite places so far to stay and it’s not because it’s a big fancy park. The man who runs this place is amazing! He was so helpful and kind and made us feel like we were family!
