Great tent camping site

I tent camped on a drive-in deluxe site in September with my dog. The host, Giorgio, was pleasant and helpful. He had firewood for sale on the property at a reasonable price.

As another reviewer noted, the bathhouse is at the very front of the property away from the campsites, but the toilet and shower were clean and perfectly adequate.

My site was flat, spacious, and easy to unload and set up on. The rest of the sites also looked very spacious and fairly flat. The campground's location is very convenient to Little River Falls.

My one quibble would be that, although the site definitely feels secluded, there was a little bit of road noise at night from the main road. It wasn't nearly enough to keep me awake, but YMMV if you're sensitive to it. The host mentioned that the sites at the back, where I was, were closer to the road and would be louder than the sites in the front of the property.

I would recommend this campsite to any drive up tent campers looking for a convenient, serene campground in this part of Alabama. I will be a repeat patron here.

Rip off

Pulled in and nothing was labeled. Campsites were not labeled or assigned and road to them was poorly kept. “Bathhouse” advertised was a freezing shed with a horse trough as a shower that was a quarter mile from all of the sites. Not worth the money.

Great place, great people.

My wife and I love coming to this campground, the host is fantastic and very accommodating. It’s completely different than any other campground we’ve been to in the sense that the campsites are secluded and private. Would highly recommend this campground to anyone.

Friendly and Convenient!

Enjoyed a 1 night stay with our two dogs after hiking at Little River Canyon. Entire grounds clean. We were greeted by the friendly host and felt welcome. Great selection of private or more open sites to pick from.

Amazing camp experience

Giorgio has an amazing set up here. He was super helpful and accommodating. We were in a mini van and were still able to navigate the grounds and dirt road pretty easily. Our kids were amazed by the water access and walking trails. Our dog was also able to free roam in the spot we picked. Some of the sites are close together but there's so many to pick from, it's easy to feel like you're the only ones out there! The fire pit was also stocked with a chunk of log as well. I do recommend bringing your own toilet accommodations since you'll probably pick a site further from the bath house (which was very clean and maintained). We only stayed 1 night to get a feel for the environment but are very excited to book a longer stay soon.

Great little camp ground

Ok, not sure where to start but this place is awesome. Ok, while other camp grounds all over are focusing on RV & pull behind trailers this place is specific to tent and RTT (we have a turtle back trailer with RTT on it) and we arrived later than planned & we’re greeted by Giorgio and he is great host. He explained everything and let us pick out our own spot. Then looking around I didn’t see any other campers there but they were because we were spaced out good enough and had privacy (hard to find in a lot of camp grounds these days). Any ways was a great experience and we will be back very soon (hope it cools off quickly)…

Wonderful tent camping

This is a great little campground super close to Little River Canyon! Although there is nowhere to camp inside of the park this is my preference for the closest you can get. Although there are other sites nearby they are more geared towards RVs whereas this location is for those who want to tent camp. On top of the campground, they also have access to the river for swimming and kayak launching. They also rent out pedal and motor bikes for exploring the parkway along the canyon. Overall, I would highly recommend checking out this campsite if you are making a visit to Little River Canyon.

Great fun and great folks!

I had seen postings for the Little River Adventure Company over the last few moths and while looking at the map, I realized it was close to the TAT as it dips into AL (Sam's route), which I would be riding soon, so I decided to try it. It was a great spot and I had a great time. The site has everything you could want i.e. a field to camp in close to the bathhouse or secluded riverside sites to get away from it all. I chose the secluded sites next to the river and it was great. The owner, Giorgio, is a off-road bike rider and a super host. This is a great spot and I would stay here again in a second.
