Nice level Campground, easy access from I-64, AT&T and Verizon both 5 bars. Sit & watch deer in the valley most mornings. No on-site management, you have to txt for reservations.

Quiet country campground with easy access, on-site RV Tech available

We were placed in the new addition of the park, where the sites were very tight and the utility hookups where in a strange position (the neighbors' utilities actually were under our awning when extended).  The turn at the end of the new sights was a bit sharp if you have a long rig.  The sights weren't particularly level, all gravel and the grass appeared hastily sown over unleveled soil with large clumps of clay and rocks present.  You had to watch where you walked to avoid twisting an ankle.  The Laundry/Shower facilities were quite a distance from where we were camped, luckily, we had our golf cart to make the trek when needed.

On the plus side, the office staff and the on-sight tech were particularly helpful.  The park is near Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon National preserve, and the Alabama (band) museum.  We were there for the start of the fall colors changing and the views were awesome!

Older Kentucky River bankside campground

We enjoyed our stay at Camp Nelson RV Park.  It's a smaller(ish) park with quite a few permanent sites.  A lot of the permanent sites are older campers in need of some TLC.

The campground has a very nice pool and is very quiet.  A bit tight for larger rigs (ours is a 40' DP).  The owner is very friendly and has several younger folks working there that are very friendly and accommodating.

There was a slight mix-up with our site when we arrived, but the young lady that was guiding us returned to the office and found us a very nice alternative site for the duration of our stay.  They have a small campground store at the office that is well supplied with the necessities.  Off the beaten path, quiet, and friendly….what more could you ask for???

Gem in the woods near I-75 and the ARK Encounter

We stayed at Three Springs from 8/14-8/18 2022.

It's a delightful little campground with great atmosphere.  The owners are very sociable and easy to work with… All sites are back in, but the owners escort you to your site and guides you into your spot.  The ride from the main road down to the campground is narrow and difficult if you meet another vehicle, but most understand the Check-in and Check-out hours, so it's not much of an issue.  The owners are currently renovating and upgrading several aspects of the park and adding a Laundry for campers.

Definitely on my "will stay again" list of campgrounds.

Great location, close to the beach, lots of local amenities.

We really like staying here, it has full hookups, always seems to have space, and there’s something fore everyone right here or nearby. Only drawback is the jet noise from the nearby Oceana Naval Airbase.
