Description

Located in a beautiful valley full of small family farms you will see plenty of horses and cattle on your drive here. Covenant Woodlands TinyFarm is located in St. Clair County near the border of Shelby County there are many activities nearby from Logan Martin Lake, Talledega Speedway, parks galore, drive-in movie theater, vineyard tour and tastings, Please check the guidebook for some highly recommended local activities, delicious meals and please feel free to ask me for additional recommendations.

Covenant Woodlands is a glamping retreat farm stay in the making. We have completed phase one with the pasture and farm buildings up and chickens on their way. The first glamping STR, The Tiny Barn is hosting guests. And a 30 amp plug-in for campers is ready as well (electrical only, no sewer).

A two hour drive from Atlanta and a 30 min-1hr drive from Birmingham, Covenant Woodlands is the perfect driving distance for a weekend getaway or a stop along the way. We are a 15 min drive from 1-20 and a 17 min drive from HWY-280.

Once you are here there is so much to do! We are than 20 mins from Logan Martin Lake public lake beach, and 15-45 minutes drive from a host of other activities including berry picking, horseback riding, petting zoo, hiking/mountain bike riding, Talladega Speedway, and Barber Motorsports. Please check my guidebook upon arrival for additional activities including local restaurants, shopping.

Cell signal is spotty all over the area, especially right after a rain. AT&T and Verizon perform best topping out at 2-3 bars. Fiber optic internet will be available before the end of the summer. Until then the only source of internet is a mifi device. I have one that is generally available for weekends only. Please write and confirm availability before booking, if this is a concern.

Please consider that this property is (for the summer) an offline glamping vacation. Spend some time around the fire, enjoying the stars and the sounds of the woods and the creek after a rain.

Parking for two cars is completely private next to the Tiny Barn. The camper plug in is beside the garage near the main farmhouse.
