Deep in the evergreen timber of Medicine Bow National Forest near the FR 234 and FR 221 junction, this sheltered pullout sits at roughly 8,900 feet in the Wyoming high country — snow is possible well into October. A fire ring marks the single slot, sized for a truck camper, van, or small trailer, with the tree line cutting the wind. A short walk to the logged hillside above the FR 221 intersection opens up a westward view toward Ryan Park and the sunset.
