Colter Bay winter car camp

This spot is located at Jackson Lake inside the National Park. It is simply a parking lot that you are fully allowed to camp in. It’s about 10 miles inside the park but the roads were maintained when we went in February. Even though this place is about an hour north of Jackson, it is a great spot to camp out during the ski season. With paved and maintained roads the entire way, a warm bathroom, and absolutely amazing views the entire way.

Heads up, bring your blackout curtains. The whole parking lot is full of red lights that stay on all night.
