Description
This park on the shores of Lake Michigan, just north of Milwaukee, has more than a mile of sandy beach, a scenic limestone quarry lake, a white cedar forest, and 7 miles of hiking and nature trails. Four picnic areas overlook Lake Michigan and an observatory is open to the public at monthly viewings. Family, group and walk-to campsites, an accessible cabin for people with disabilities, several shelters, and an indoor gathering space at the Ansay Welcome Center are available for reservations.
