Bruceport County Park

Perched on a cliff above Willapa Bay, Bruceport County Park draws campers who prefer smaller, quieter campgrounds over busy destinations. This county-managed facility operates three distinct loops with varying site configurations and privacy levels.

Loop C accommodates RVs and trailers with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, though sites sit close together with limited privacy between neighbors. The tent camping area in Loop B offers more spacious sites, with B-10 positioned right at the cliff edge overlooking the water. A trail provides easy access down to the bay, but campers need to monitor tide schedules to avoid getting stranded.

The campground includes coin-operated hot showers, restrooms, and a dump station, with helpful camp hosts maintaining the facilities. Reid found it "hardly anyone here" during a busy holiday weekend, reflecting the park's tendency to stay relatively uncrowded. The small city of South Bend sits nearby with local dining options.

Rates run $20 for tent sites and $30-40 for full hookup spots. For campers exploring the broader region, campgrounds around Raymond provide additional options within the Willapa Bay area. The combination of bay access, reasonable pricing, and manageable crowds makes this park well-suited to RV travelers and tent campers seeking a low-key coastal base.

Visitors often highlighted spacious, well-separated tent sites and friendly hosts who maintain the grounds well. Several guests observed good value pricing, though RV sites lack privacy and facilities need updates.

Quiet campground

The hosts were very welcoming and informative, and the park/campground was well kept up. The campground is quiet enough that you should be able to pull up in the evening and find a spot without a reservation. They had warm/hot showers for 15 minutes.

The trail down to the beach is lined by beautiful trees and ferns, and begins on the right edge of the campground.

Nice Spot

Nice little spot. Free hot showers. $20 for a tent site. Some of the tent sites to choose from were really small or not level but we got lucky with what we thought was the best site (B-10)

Good Spot in the middle of nowhere

Found this camping spot on a busy holiday weekend. Hardly anyone here. Good for us! Prices are great. $30 + for full hook. $20 for just parking two vehicles. A campervan and a tent. Camped in B-10, right by cliff area and the ocean. Would stay here again.

Great spot

Went in late June and the campground was practically empty. Pretty good size tent camping spots. Right next to a cliff looking over the water. Sort of far from any town but beautiful spot

Great Coast Destination

Bruceport County Park is outside of South Bend on the Southwest coast of Washington. the campground overall is pretty small and there isnt much privacy for the RV and trailer campers (Loop C). Camp hosts are super nice and take great care of the campground. Bathrooms and showers could use some updating, and showers are coin operated.

The trail down to the water is pretty easy and quick. Note when the tides are though or you could get caught.

The small City of South Bend is a pretty neat place to visit while you are camping. There is an awesome sit down cafe called Elixir that has great iced teas, and docks right by.
