Unexpected great experience

This was the first time that we had ever stayed at a KOA, so we were apprehensive. We were greeted by Karen who was so nice and helpful. Our firewood was delivered by Dennis, who was always helpful. We loved our site which offered privacy and close proximity to the trailhead to the beach which was fantastic. Karen set us up with"Clamming 101". We purchased the clamming package which had everything down to the wine and garlic to cook our intended bounty. At first I thought maybe it was wishful thinking, but we caught our limit. We purchased our license online at the campground. The WiFi worked pretty well overall. No complaints and nothing but compliments to the staff at this campground. We will be back!

What a beautiful place

Host is so nice, has a super equipped store. You can walk to the beautiful beach and pick up shells or clams. Bounce area for the kiddos, improvised movie nights. It’s an amazing place if you want to be comfortable and disconnect. Totally recommend and will leave memories that will last forever.

New Ownership

Sadly the campground is under new management and prices for campsites have doubled. What went for $40 is now $80. Outrageous!!

Nicely wooded.

Each space is nice with trees, grass and a picnic table. People are friendly and park is clean, as well as bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Get your firewood somewhere else, there’s has not been aged and too wet for burning. Cellular connection is spotty and wifi is weak.

Super nice park.

Owners are great. Spits are not private but are really nice. Kids loved the ice cream in store. It is a haul up and down to ocean.

Very nice small KOA

The Willapa Bay KOA was a great place to stay for a long weekend. The owners did a reasonably good job providing some privacy between sites given that it’s a typical field with some trees. The decor and theming shows a real effort in making the place welcoming and family friendly. There is a short trail to the beach to watch the sunsets and search for shells. They have a small store with some supplies and a free dump site if you are camping there.

A real Gem

Wonderful KOA covered in trees and close to bay/beach.Great campsite and customer service. Beautiful walk to beach. Nice store for necessities and ice. The Hosts very hospitable. Bathrooms too very clean. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay and they have a Husband and wife who are Vol. Firefighters and EMT's so they have you covered for saftey We loved the attention to detail. We got a very good Verizion signal(4 bars) for our Hot spot and 2-3 bar signal for our AT&T hot spot. Our site was clean and well maintained I would recommend

Great service, basic KOA

Your basic KOA with the amenities: flush toilets, showers, dog park, gift shop, kids activities, etc. but comes with the price $38/night basic primitive tent camping. No complaints otherwise and very friendly staff.

I am singing in the rain...

I had a great stay at the KOA! Even though the weather was a little rainy, i was tent camping, i enjoyed this campround. All the little details they put up all arround the campground made me smile every time i passed them. One of my favourite photos of my six months travel photography trip i took there. The leave with the raindrops.

This place has it all!!

When we go crabbing it is usually our of Tokeland. We checked out Bay Center and were so pleasantly surprised by this KOA. This place really has it all!!

-Full Hookups, complimentary showers, wifi, cable, and a snack bar.

They have clam beds just for campers, or a day fee for those wanting to rake without camping. Some of the sites are pretty open but if you went with a large family it would be perfect. You can only have 4 people to a tent campsite and 6 to an RV site, which puts some limitations on people.

They have spaces for RV's and trailers, tents, cabins, yurts and even have trailers you can rent to stay in on site!

This is a great spot for families who do not necessarily want to rough it and want to enjoy a smooth weekend being cared for by great hosts!
