Sandy beach walks, sand dollar hunting, and views of the roaring Pacific draw campers to Roam Beyond Kalaloch on Washington's Olympic Coast. This glamping-style operation provides pre-set trailers with drinking water, showers, firewood, and trash service, so arriving with minimal gear is genuinely workable. Sites sit in forested terrain near the coast. One notable planning detail: the four sites in the loop above the Tree of Life see heavy foot traffic from visitors following GPS directions into the campground. Rates run $229 per night, making it a good match for first-time campers or those unwilling to haul their own equipment. Kalaloch Campground sits a few miles north for a more traditional option.
Description
Nestled between the Olympic Coast and the Hoh Rainforest, our exclusive sustainable dwellings will delight the camper AND glamper inside of just about anyone trying to experience the utter brilliance of the Pacific Northwest. The unique location and privacy of the wooded forest allow for a truly magical experience on the Olympic Peninsula where lodging is very limited. Get ready for a starlit night by the campfire and a re-energizing full night sleep on a cozy queen size mattress. Friends and kids are welcome with our 3 and 4 person models.
Every guest has a private retreat featuring a queen bed (plus bunks for families and friends), hot water and shower, stovetop kitchen supplies for cooking, refrigeration, plenty of power for lighting and charging devices, plus a self-contained toilet.
Outdoor camping supplies and seating are all included so don’t fret over carrying camping gear out with you! When booking our experience, please be aware that there will be other dwellings and guests within the vicinity of the property, and as such, guests can expect to see (and make friends with) fellow nature-goers.Our communal areas are a great way to expand your living space, we recommend bringing a bundle of firewood per night to share in the campfire experience.
We know you seek experiences that allow you to step into nature in the most responsible and reverential way possible. Each dwelling contains robust solar power systems, compostable toilets, and thoughtful amenities that allow you to “leave no trace” in remote locations.
