We were passing through and Horn Rapids was perfect for our use. It has a nice little mini mart, drive through spots, full hookups, playground for the kids, clean bathrooms/showers, and allows pets. It is also close to Safeway and right outside the gate is a camper trailer friendly gas station with…
I really liked this campground. I wish we could stay longer than 14 days out of 45, but that's the rules. There is no camp host but maintenance is there daily to tend to the grounds. It is a well kept place I can say that. The only complaint I have is that the sprinklers go on in the middle of the…
I typically rate campgrounds as they fit into 1 of 5 categories. This campground will be rated as an “along the way” stay — grounds that you seek out for a night or two as a place to simply stay the night along your journey to regroup and get some sleep. Ratings for this category are based…

Wow was this place fancy! If you’re looking for a full-service sort of experience, look no further! Fantastic amenities and right across from a major golf course

Quiet and not your normal RV park. We love this place
Good parking. To to close to your neighbor. Nice bathhouses. The drive to here nice I loved the view. I would come back.
This is NOT a secluded wilderness campround where you will have a epic back to nature experience. Having said that, if you want a place to park your rv (they do have tent sites also), with full hook ups while you explore the local wineries, with a pool and a shuttle van, then this place is…
We've camped here many times! It's always been clean, well maintained, and positive. We're coming back in July 2020!
Great RV park on the heart of wine country
OK, I need to be clear this is not really “camping” camping but more like glamping. This RV park is the best maintained park I have ever seen. The lots are not real big, but the landscaping is pristine ( think golf course) and overall the park is meticulously maintained. There is a really nice pool…

Stayed here a couple of nights. Our site was a tenting site, but we were in our mini Meerkat camper and we fit (our choice). Almost abandoned, probably because of huge hail storm. Friendly host “Dutch” and a few walk about simple hiking paths. Bathrooms and showers very nice (coin op on the…

This review is for the main campground, there is another group/horse campground across the highway that I did not stay in. The small campground is right off Highway 97. The first part of the campground is where the hook ups, large RV's, small trailers and tent campers are located. The spaces are…

Nice open area to play games. We played frisbee and enjoyed the area. The water is really close and the camp sites didn't seem to be too crowded but it was a slow time when we were there. There aren't a lot of camping options in that area so this had to do. Definitely prefer more remote locations.
