Open forest slopes of Kaniksu National Forest near Chewelah Mountain at roughly 4,500 feet host this dispersed camping area alongside a year-round creek and offer good huckleberry picking through the summer months. Access is off Mountain Resort Road, and the terrain accommodates larger rigs. The standard 14-day USFS stay limit applies.
