Go Elsewhere- Not Good

Small cramped campsite with seemingly endless yellow jackets, mosquitoes and continuous traffic at all hours of the night. Would advise checking out other sites closer to Leavenworth.

No cell service, unsurprisingly.

Off the beaten path...

Great spot for reserved camping. When you follow Icicle Rd to the end it'll turn to Gravel- keep going and when you think you've gone too far you're probably half way.

Can’t believe we got a spot with a view!

Drove out to check it out not expecting to find a available site but to our surprise we hit the jackpot! Site #5 is the best with an amazing view. Checkout our pics! Water access, great trails and nice bathrooms for the win! We’d go back for sure.

Nice place if a little busy

Straddles the creek with 17 campsites on one side and 4 on the other.  Some are very spacious.  If you get one by the creek be prepared that there will be a lot of people passing by.  There's a nice swim area in the creek though the water is icy.  A loop trail heads downstream on either side of the creek which makes for a lot of day traffic coming through the middle of the site.  It's a nice, easy walk.  There are several trails of varying difficulty not far.  Plenty of vault toilets and water available each side of the creek.

Designed for RV's and Trailers

Very small campground designed only for RV's and trailers. Swimming area is not considered safe, there are large chunk of concrete all along the edge. Fishing in this area is also difficult because of the snags and concrete. Boat launch was closed to vehicles when I visited. Lots of overflow traffic from Alder Lake Campground on weekends.

Goldilocks Campsite

Most people get distracted by the Eightmile campground and Johnny Creek on the way up the Icicle, but this is far enough away that most people don't come all the way up!

Right on the creek and at night it is perfect to fall asleep to! The bridge located near the site is perfect to stargaze on!! It is very romantic.

There is a well near by and a toilet that was kept up while we were there.

Highly recommend over the closer campsites!
