Road traffic and dust are part of the experience at Goat Marsh Dispersed Group Campsite, a free drive-in site along a corridor of dispersed camping in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Weekends bring noticeable vehicle traffic on the access road. No cell service. Sites tucked farther back from the road cut down on noise and dust, and a fire ring is on-site, though burn bans apply seasonally. RVs up to 20 feet can access the area, with a couple of rougher road sections to navigate. Campers exploring dispersed spots near Gifford Pinchot National Forest will find this one of many options along NF-81, including McBride Lake NF-81 Dispersed about a mile to the east. Come prepared to share the road.
