Somebody here clearly cares about this business: the beautiful garden, the helpful sheet with nearby attractions and restaurants, a community kitchen where you’re invited to stop by for a hunk of bread. We got a tent site for our camper van as we did not require hookups. The site was ample but not very private, and the only bathroom anywhere near was a porta potty that could have used a bit more attention. And I am really tired of campgrounds that post “please recycle” signs and do not provide recycle bins.
To balance the negative reviews: we were given a beautiful, shady site right on the creek. A bit of a homey vibe with passers- through and permanent residents side-by-side; a bit down at the heels, maybe, but only a bit, and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. One of the quieter places we’ve camped! And a nice person in the store will make you a cup of coffee for a dollar. Only complaint was the person who smoked on the grounds. We would stay here again.
We were just stopping over on our way from here to there. I’d love to come back for a longer stay.
