Country Estates Manufactured Housing Community

This is, as you’d expect from the name, a full time year round manufactured home community. Residents must be 55+, so there is a relaxed atmosphere and people are very considerate. It’s very much in civilization (you can walk to the Walmart) so a good break if you need to be close to the world for awhile. Cell service is good, full hookups including cable television are available, etc. Showers, laundry… even a pool.

That said, I have to add that it’s always an odd dynamic to be the temporary stay in the middle of an established community. They set RVers apart from the pack so you aren’t mixed in with the residents who all know each other and have formed a community, so in that sense it feels more like a normal campground. Some services and facilities are not available to people passing through (like the meeting hall and special events like game nights) but as long as you’re prepared for that, it’s fine for a night or two.
