Black Creek Maple's Nature Escape and Tent Haven

The quiet atmosphere at this private campground stems from its limited number of sites, creating a more intimate setting than larger facilities. Located near Black Creek with views toward Mount Mansfield, the property provides basic amenities including clean restrooms, showers, and drinking water on-site. Hosts supply firewood and cooking racks for first-night stays, with additional wood available for purchase.

Access involves rough roads that may challenge some vehicles. The open terrain offers little natural shade but allows clear sightlines across the surrounding countryside. Campers can explore places to camp near Jeffersonville for additional options in the area. This setup works well for tent campers who value quiet surroundings over extensive facilities.

Peaceful and charming

We spent the night at this beautiful campsite with a magnificent view of Mount Mansfield. The small amount of camping space made the experience quite unique and private. The host, Dianne, was really friendly. Many amenities such as wood, water and outhouse nearby. Very nice experience.

Peaceful bliss

Most quiet and peaceful place for camping. Such a great host. Weather was not cooperative and my fiancé and I were able to rent one of the cabins for our second night. We will definitely recommend it to others and we will be back again. Clean water, fire wood and cooking rack are provided for your first night. There’s extra fire wood for sale along with a sink to do dishes. A very clean outhouse and shower right on site. An absolute amazing stay.
