Description
Ferron Canyon Picnic Area is a small picnic area near the Black Dragon Trailhead on the Ferron Canyon Road. It is set along Ferron Creek at 6400' elevation and offers a quiet, shady spot for a picnic, or for a rest after a hike. There is one vault toilet available during open season.

Ferron Canyon Picnic Area is located approximately 9.7 miles up Ferron Canyon. From the intersection of State Route 10 (State Street) and Canyon Road in Ferron, Utah, head west on Canyon Road. Canyon Road becomes Ferron Canyon Road and then Forest Road 0022. In 9.7 miles, turn northeast into the picnic area on Forest Road 0313.
