Description
Red-rock BLM land southeast of Moab, just off the highway behind a low ridgeline, opens into a tiered set of dispersed sites ranging from wide, level pullouts with fire rings suited to large RVs at the lower elevation to tighter boulder-framed spots higher up the rough dirt track. The lower flats draw crowds — especially on weekends — but driving further up the rocky two-track yields considerably more solitude and views across the canyon country. High clearance is advisable for the upper reach; the lower section is generally passable in two-wheel drive on dry ground.
