Secluded & Quiet

Very far off the beaten path yet located walking distance from the Needles district of Canyonlands Nat'l Park. Night time sky was incredible. Zero light pollution. Owners were friendly and the camp store is well stocked with anything you need. Public bathrooms clean w/ running water. Highly…

Primitive Hamburger

Near the Needles. Lots of dispersed camping nearby. Vault toilets near road, 200 yards from sites. $15/night or $7.50 with senior pass. About 10 sites, butted against weird red mushroom-shaped rock. Sites not very level, 8’x8’ tent platforms, picnic table, iron fire ring and grate. No water. Nice,…

Great Dispersed Camping!

Went during Memorial Day weekend 2021 and was not busy. If you continue going down Wild Horse Road, you can certainly find a secluded spot to park your RV or setup your tent. Traveling on Wild Horse Rd. from Goblin Valley Road is paved and pretty easy to navigate. If you're looking for that "je ne…

Friendly and clean

Stayed 1 night on our way to Moab. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean. Spots are close together but that's the normal for private RV parks.

Gorgeous, camp here!

Awesome find, definitely better than the "people pastures" along mt temple road. Lots of cool camp spots along the cliffs, not a lot of places to dig holes to do your business so bring a way to pack it out. Great place for kids to play and doggies to run around. Super close to Goblin Valley…

Gorgeous views

I camped right up next to the rooster butte, the rocks there added a degree of privacy. Went on some great hikes around the spot. There’s a couple different spots by rooster once you drive up towards it. Each spot had a semi made firepit. I was the only one parked near it so spots were easy to find…

Top 3 favorite places to camp

This place is amazing. The sky is as dark as I’ve ever seen it and the dispersed camping is as if you were on another planet. Great slot canyon hikes near by.

This place is breathtaking. There are a few spots right outside where you will still have cell service with ATT or onstar WiFi. However once you pass these there is no service at all. It is a busy place and hard to find a spot but it is gorgeous and totally worth it.

Valley of the Gods is indescribably beautiful. We camped here on a Friday and had no trouble finding a spot that was secluded and free from others. The nearest campers to us were over 400 yards away. There truly isn’t a bad camp site here. It’s all dispersed style camping with no amenities. It’s a…

Stunning Views with Good Facilities

One of best camp spots I’ve had. Pictures can’t do justice to how breathtaking the views are, and the campsites are amazingly close to the rim.

I’m typically a tent camper but read in other reviews that this is a windy spot. It is - and I hit it on an especially windy day. I car camped, which was…

Views For Days!

This was my first BLM land experience so I guess they're a few spots you can reserve and pay for. However I found a bunch of free camping spots. The views here are ridiculous. There are bathrooms and it's the closest too Canyonlands. Might be a little hard to find spots on a busy weekend but…

Nice BLM campground

This CG is not just group sites, it has loop A for renters/vans with a length trailers. Loop B is the larger loop for TT and RVs. Two groups sites ( A n B) in between by the heavily used boat ramp area. Trash, toilets, water available. Cell signal is marginal. The west end of…
