Description

emple Hill Campground is a 20-acre park set against the eastern edge of the Manti-La Sal National Forest, whereas our western edge borders the Manti LDS Temple, and right in our park is a portion of the original pioneer quarry for the temple stone, making the entire area a place for exploration, tranquility, and discovery.

This campground was formerly Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park. Also known as the Balloon Port in early years. The park was built in the late 70s and has enjoyed many additions over the years.

On arrival, we’ll get you properly situated in a large pull through site, with full hook-ups, lush lawn, and a campfire pit just waiting for S’mores. Brought a tent, no problem, we’ve got plenty of lovely grass sites right under the stars or in the shade of our mature cottonwood trees.

A bit dated

May 2020 - In the midsts of the Coronavirus scare, we were allowed to stay at this campground overnight. Which we appreciated. However, we were charged $38 for electric hookup and opened bathrooms. We enjoyed all the birds in old groth trees. Double sites so you’re certainly close to your neighbor. Although near the highway, the traffic noise is not bad.
