Nice park, Amazing amenities

The scenery here is not Zion but it is really nice for people who just want to get somewhere pretty, do small hikes, and camp. The camp spots are close but the trees make it seem more spacious. The “no generators after 4pm” is also a major plus for those seeking peaceful outdoor camping.
The amenities here deserve special mention here: in short, they are amazing. The showers here are the undisputed nicest public showers we have ever used. The bathrooms are also impeccable. All of the spots have shade (you will need in the summer. There is even a frisbee golf course somewhere here!

Gorgeous

We stayed 1 night. Got a full hook up spot, did tons of laundry in the great laudromat, had delicious ice cream at the well stocked visitor center, and hiked 6 miles through amazing panorama loops. It was peaceful and so beautiful. Our cousins stayed in both types of cabins and loved them. The campground also has archery and disc golf. This is a must do state park.
