Not free

The site said that this is a free disperse camping ground however it is not. There is a fee of $30 per vehicle and the charges go up from there depending on how many vehicles and rigs you have. I’m not sure if it’s like this year round but the bees are everywhere! Anytime you go out to eat or hang out outside bee swarm! The hikes are beautiful, the river is gorgeous, and there are plenty of trails, but there are also plenty of bees. If you’re allergic, I would definitely say stay away!

CANNOT CAMP HERE

We set up camp + had our fire for a few hours till someone showed up to tell us we weren’t allowed to camp there. Luckily we didn’t get fined. Very inconvenient tho:/

Simple Camp Before Setting off on a Trail Ride

This is set up like the other campgrounds and picnic areas in the campground.  It has around 6 campsites that have a metal and concrete fire ring, a bbq grill, and picnic table.  Most of the campsites had nice big trees shading them.  There is also a vault toilet.  Nearby is Tiblle Fork Reservoir and 20 minutes up the dirtroad is the very scenic Silver Flat Lake which has amazing views of the surrounding peaks which still had snow when we visited in July.
