Geyser Pass Road

Cyclists and road trippers traveling Utah's scenic byways will find Geyser Pass Road positioned along a route that sees regular traffic from both heavy trucks and bicycle tour groups. This dispersed camping area operates under US Forest Service management within the Manti-La Sal National Forest, allowing campfires, pets, and alcohol while maintaining cell service access.

The location draws visitors during fall months when changing aspen leaves create colorful displays across the surrounding mountainous terrain. Campers should expect periodic noise from passing commercial vehicles and tour vans, particularly during peak travel seasons. Those seeking additional options can explore camping near Manti-La Sal National Forest or check nearby La Sal Loop Rd Dispersed less than a mile northeast.

Incredible views

The views are amazing. Heavy traffic at times from heavy trucks and bicycle tour vans. The leaves are all changing color, so these views make it worth it.
