Dixie NF Dispersed off FR 039 (Oak Grove Road)

Oak Grove Road (FR 039) climbs into the Pine Valley Mountains at roughly 6,200 feet on the Dixie National Forest, where a trailhead parking area sits in cool, forested terrain — noticeably colder than the desert valleys below. A couple of informal spots with small fire rings have seen prior use, though the terrain is uneven throughout. Expect mosquitoes in late spring and light cell signal.
