Hike-in access keeps Cliff Lake Dispersed Camping free of car campers entirely. Set within Wasatch National Forest, this dispersed site sits alongside a High Uintas lake known for fishing, with a cliffside on the northwest shore that campers can climb for open sightlines over the lake and basin below. Day hikers pass through regularly during peak season, but overnight crowds stay thin. Camp in the trees to the east or up on the cliffside for more separation. Nearby Trial Lake and Petite Lake, just above Cliff Lake, add fishing variety to a multi-night stay. Arrive early in summer weekends to claim a spot before day-use traffic picks up.
