BLM Dispersed near Natural Bridges NM — Armstrong Canyon

Description

Pinyon-juniper country on BLM land just outside Natural Bridges National Monument, this cluster of pull-offs and informal spots along Armstrong Canyon sits at roughly 6,800 feet on Cedar Mesa — a natural staging ground for Bears Ears exploration. Multiple fire rings and a gravel road in make it functional for cars, vans, and smaller rigs, though tight turns and uneven terrain put larger vehicles at a disadvantage and leveling blocks are worth having. No cell signal reaches here; the Natural Bridges visitor center, a short drive away, offers water and Wi-Fi.
