Where the Uinta Mountains meet the Bear River drainage, Beluah Vista Yurt sits as a hike-in accommodation option north of the Utah-Wyoming border. This privately managed yurt requires campers to walk in with their gear, making it accessible only to those prepared for the approach. The location near the river provides water access for those who make the trek.
The hike-in requirement limits visitors to what they can carry, so pack accordingly. Nearby options include Lily Lake Yurt and East Fork Yurt for those exploring multiple yurt experiences in the area. Plan for self-sufficiency since the remote location means no vehicle access once you arrive.
Description
Beulah Vista, our newest yurt, is located out the east fork of the Bear River about 2.5 miles from the trailhead at an elevation of about 8600 feet. Access to the Beulah Vista Yurt is via the non-motorized trail system of the East Fork Bench, about a mile past the East Fork Yurt on the Lower East Fork Trail. On clear days it features a stunning view of Mount Beulah from the front door. This is our largest yurt (24' in diameter) and can accomodate up to 12 people.
