Description

Forest Road 217 cuts through the aspen forest of Ashley National Forest just off US-191, reaching dispersed campsites at roughly 8,400 feet amid open meadows and wildflowers. Flat ground accommodates trailers and RVs of all sizes, and a pit toilet is a short level walk from camp. Additional dispersed sites spread out along nearby forest roads, making it a versatile basecamp for exploring the Uinta high country.
