Price Gouging & Drama!!

This campground has a $50.00 non-refundable'administration' fee. The owners (Super wealthy inventors of the'Squatty Pottie') quickly doubled the rent for workers coming to the area. Electric extra. Our rent ran around $1,000 a month but a lot of people paid more, depending on their electric use. No playground or pool and next to a busy road. (Okay if you like the sound of Jake brakes at all hours.) When we arrived in February they advertised Wi-Fi on their website. It's actually dial up I think. They kept assuring us it was coming, but as of July, it hasn't happened.

There is insane drama here! The workers hate each other and want to discuss it with everyone, ad nauseam.

Tenants regularly had their packages stolen from the office, including us. The administration gave our package to someone who sold it. They still didn't think twice about keeping the $50 administration fee! A tip for the thief?

We weren't thrilled at being price gouged and robbed at the same campground. We wouldn't stay here again.

SiteVery tight. Hookups in the middle of the site.

Only park around

Just fine, but no frills. Managers were super friendly & helpful. They are expert rockhounders, so take the time to chat them up. Be sure to visit local rock shop too, owner there is very helpful and has an amazing collection. Easy off/on road access, clean facilities & nice grassy area. No playground, tables or fire pits though.

Average

Have stayed here on two occasions, more recently in April. Our campsite lacked a fire pit or picnic bench however the showers are warm and bathrooms kept clean. If you’re in the area to go digging for trilobites this may be your only option for camping as the town of Delta is small and has little options for overnight staying.
