Beautiful in the fall

When we came here in February, it was snowed in and we stayed at the fork of forest roads 23 and 2353. This time we decided to check it out in the fall so we came in November. There was a light dusting of snow in some places but the roads were clear and the weather was beautiful. The campground is closed but the off season sites are even better than the campground campsites, in our opinion.

Great Campground

On Sat July 30th and Sun July 31st, a group of 9 of us went bikepacking and we stayed at a campsite along the river. It was large enough to fit our big group and a beautiful spot along the water for hanging out. We really lucked out in getting a campsite since the rest of the campground was full and we arrived about 5pm on Saturday. In the morning, I took a walk along the beaver pond trail and it was really nice with informational signs along the trail.
