Lovely spot next to the Skokomish river, a few beautiful spots right on the river and creek. All the others are great too though, good balance of privacy for all the sites. Facilities great for dispersed - restrooms, space, tables, fire pits and a water pump. Arrived about 6pm during the week in high summer and still a good number of spaces available.
Nestled in the valley in between two beautiful rivers. Arrived at 1pm on a Friday and just 2 spots left out of about 10. Filled up quickly after and lots of cars stopping to check for spaces. Lovely big spots with good dispersed facilities - restroom, tables, and fire pits. Some great spots next to the rivers that need to be got early. Brilliant location for hikes all over the valley area, get your spot sorted and then drive up to the many trailheads but hiking from the campsite is great too.
Arrived here on a Sunday afternoon and was empty, with a few cars that appeared to have been left. Odd vibe! All the spots looked great however, just felt a bit unloved and off the beaten track. It was shrouded by trees but the sites themselves weren’t hidden from eachother.
Small dispersed campground with a restroom. Huge spots with 3 lucky ones right on the river. Arrived about 2pm during the week and plenty of free spots and still empty spaces for the few days we were there.
Great dispersed camping. We arrived about 3/4pm during the week and got a spot up the FS-2918, right on the river down a short track. There was a burnt up car up on the road but well away from our spot. There were plenty of places further up the road, felt like a great result for dispersed camping!
Real winner of a site, 98 spots but still very peaceful and private. We were in loop C and just about able to see a few other sites from ours. Restrooms, water pumps and lovely camp hosts selling firewood if you’ve forgotten! The river is beautiful and lots of trails around the site. Arrived late on a Sunday (7pm) and a fair number of free spots to choice. Loops C and D are closest to the river
Perfect location just outside the national park, but is on a road. We got there at 8pm after coming down from Rainier and then left early to get up to the park again. Electric and water hookup but no restrooms.
Got one of the few first come first served slots, a couple left when arriving at 4pm on a Monday. Slots were well equipped with fire pits, table and plenty of space to camp and park. Great, clean toilets and water pump. Only downside was sites were quite close together with not much privacy
