Beautiful views
Playground of the valley. Amazing views but the bugs are horrible. Campsites fill up fast and there are limited restrooms.

Beautiful Lakeside Campground
This campground is located approximately 20 miles off the Glenn Highway down Lake Louise Road. The individual campsites are decently sized, and there are on site bathrooms, water, tables and fire pits. The campground also has a public boat launch, so if you bring a watercraft it opens up not only Lake Louise for exploration, but many of the surrounding other lakes like Susitna and Tyone Lakes. Watch out for caribou and moose, as there are plenty of them around, along with many other species of Alaskan small game like lynx, fox, grouse/ptarmagin, marmots and even wolves to name a few. Many of the campsites have stunning views of the Lake, and the campground is typically not very crowded.
Beautiful area off of the AK highway.
Take care on the way in, the road is a bit bumpy!
