There are currently no fees for day use at Winkler Park. Reservation s: Reservations for campsites can be made on recreation.gov for Belton Lake.

From Interstate 35 in Temple, Texas take State Highway 53/36 west towards Gatesville (approximatey 10 miles). Just after Leon River Bridge, turn right on White Flint Park Road. Turn left on Winkler Park Road and follow it to the park entrance.

Catfish

This is a great tent camping spot has water no electric they do have showers and a restroom there is 11 camps spots camp host is very helpful and respectful. Good place for catfishing bring your kayak
