La Clocha 1 — Big Bend National Park

Sitting directly on the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park, La Clocha 1 is a backcountry site managed by the National Park Service with views across the river toward San Vicente. Access is relatively straightforward for a backcountry location. The site faces east and west, giving campers direct sightlines for both sunrise and sunset over the river. Campers who want developed facilities nearby can look at Rio Grande Village RV Campground roughly 3.6 miles to the northeast.
