Not the worst

Camp sites are very close to one another, and very few spots have tent pads. The bath/shower is far away. The swimming beach is not kept clean and there are no trash bins along the beach. Very busy fishing lake, so you'll hear boat motors throughout the night and early morning. No hiking trail that I was able to find. Short drive into Jefferson.

Perfect getaway

This campsite was everything I hoped for. We stayed at Site T114 - Loop T1 and had our friends stay at T115, which was only a couple of yards from our site. If you want to enjoy that whole area to yourself, I would recommend booking Sites T113 - T115 as they are all about the same distance apart. We wanted a spot that was waterfront, and it was perfect. We also had our kayaks and found a spot right next to our campsite to load out from, which was nice so that we didn’t have to load up and head to the boat ramp. The restrooms were well kept and the hot water was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
