Beautiful, but close

Hope you have good neighbors, because you will be close! The camp sites could use a good mowing. Showers and bathrooms were decent. Quiet hours were not enforced. Other than that, the location couldn't be more beautiful. The lake was nice and refreshing. Right across from a local convenience store and just down the road from Silver Dollar City. Plenty of close eateries too, if you're not into preparing camp meals.

Always a Favorite

Great tent and RV sites. Not too close to neighbors. Bath/showers are close. Great hiking trails! Some water activities above the dam.

Not the worst

Camp sites are very close to one another, and very few spots have tent pads. The bath/shower is far away. The swimming beach is not kept clean and there are no trash bins along the beach. Very busy fishing lake, so you'll hear boat motors throughout the night and early morning. No hiking trail that I was able to find. Short drive into Jefferson.

Very Busy

If you are planning to kayak, canoe or tube, then you may not mind how busy the campgrounds are. The bath/showers are not terribly close, unless you're staying near the bunk houses. Pretty scenery and the river activities are fun, orherwise there's not much to do here. You have to travel if you plan to hike any trails.

Space for days

Camp sites are very spacious and well kept. There is plenty of distance between you and neighboring sites. Trails are great and so are all the buildings. Bath/showers are clean.
