ScoutSite #9 was extremely unlevel, narrow, and not for big rigs. Only 30 amp service and the 110 did not work. The campsite host (?) said to load up and move to another site. He was very unfriendly, sarcastic, and just plain sad. This is a party place at night, not suitable for small children or sensitive folks at night. The shade was wonderful! It was also wonderful that they came around every morning to empty trash cans and replace them with new liners.

TravelerLove going to bethy creek resort !!! Everyone there is so accommodating happy and helpful. Bethy creek is the only place to camp Rv rent a boat and millions of other things to do. Good clean bathrooms excellent showers excellent store with pretty much everything you need while you stay there. The beautiful picturesque views will ease the stress and relieve the strains of the real world. Excellent WiFi access if you need it and every Rv hookup is perfectly located and easy to use. WE WILL BE GOING BACK FOR YEARS TO COME !!!!

GuideOne of those, you get what you pay for kind of places. The facilities are there. They aren't great, but at least they are permenant. The lake is there, it's not super pretty but it's also closer to college station and Bryan than anywhere else.
GuideWhile the camp spots are few, this area gets extra points for its walking/running/biking trails. The park is open 365 days of the year and is first-come, first-serve on sites. Only $10 for the night. Check out the Lakeside Icehouse for events and live music throughout the year. Now the trails: ~20 miles through the trees with well-marked signs to guide you. Outside of peak concert/event times, this is an ideal area for a quiet getaway.
